Needing a win to make the Super Six, Malaysia asked the Windies to set a target, and as it turned out, the chase proved too big a task. Skipper Nur Dania Syuhada was the only batter to score a double-digit score, 12 off 17, while three others got out for ducks.

Samara Ramnath was the wrecker-in-chief. The captain claimed a four-wicket haul (4/6) as the Windies dismissed Malaysia for 59 all out in 18 overs. Earlier, opener Asabi Callendar hit 30 off 42 to help the Windies post 112/7 in 20 overs.

The Windies thus completed the Super Six line-up.

In the final group stage match, defending champions India take on Sri Lanka in a Group A top-of-the-table clash. Both teams have already qualified for the next stage. The Super Six will have two groups of six teams each.

Teams qualified for Super Six
